Our Te Awamutu RSA Mahjong club are a happy social club who enjoy the challenge that comes playing this ancient game with likeminded people. It has been part of our RSA for over 10 years
We play weekly on a Friday from 1:00pm - 4:00pm and presently have 48 members. Our club members frequently get together for lunch before playing or a drink and dinner after they finish. We've been told the laughter from our club when we play is catchy as no topic is off limits.
We often exchange visits with Otorohanga and Cambridge clubs and these are also lots of fun. We play all year long except for Public holidays. We run 6 weekly lessons, twice yearly, which also prove to be very popular. The next round of lessons we are running will start in October.
